     AE-1/T is NE1000(TM) compatible and also offers more IRQs. 

     The AE-3 has an internal connector designed to accept an Attachment
     Unit Interface (AUI) connector that allows it to connect to a matching
     internal connector built into Artisoft's Peer-Hub(R) 10BASE-T
     concentrator, thus enabling a bridge between 10BASE-T and thin or
     thick Ethernet network segments.
